Ghost Sign

By the vagaries of the timetable of Lothian Buses (or possibly traffic difficulties somewhere along the way) I took a different route to the hairdresser, past this ghost sign. 
At one time a corner shop I interpret as an off-licence, the shop door has been blocked up and premises are now a private dwelling.
