French Toilets!

So many lovely scenes of French countryside as we drove leisurely down through France, heading towards Spain and Portugal.
But what I choose to post was this typical French public toilet! Very basic - just squat on the floor over the hole! Which way to face was my first dilemma - then no toilet paper to be seen (fortunately I had a piece handy in my pocket), then the flush was so violent that it went all over my shoes! Not a very pleasant experience. However, I did like the window high up for air circulation!
