Milo and Grandpa W

I can't seem to get myself into gear, and so once again, this is a back blip, posted just before going to bed on 30th Sep.  Photo for today will be posted tomorrow, but I make no commitment on the time!

The tablet was a 5th birthday present for Robin, but Milo has been getting a lot of use from it over the last few days, when Robin has been playing Mario Karts with his dad.  

Milo loves an interactive alphabet game, and is pretty good at recognising and sounding all the letters.  As is typical for the age he will happily play the same letter over and over again.  And he was loving to demonstrate the game to W.

We had spent a good deal of the day helping Z.  She and her fiancé have just moved into a new flat, and so a trip to Ikea to collect some furniture was followed by helping to make it more useable, as they are still surrounded by many boxes of stuff.  We put up some curtain rails.  Then I set to and shortened the curtains, whilst W tackled the construction of a large kitchen island.  Z had to go out to sign the papers for the sale of her previous flat.

W and Z went off to collect some kitchen stools bought on FB marketplace, whilst I finished and then ironed the curtains.  They got caught in an absolute downpour.  Shortly after, we returned to R's, and W was able to change out of his wet clothes!
