Southwest by Northwest

I'd been meaning to blip this for a while, and today the late sunlight made it look so vivid that it was irresistible -- that and the fact that I couldn't think of anything else to blip.

This stucco-pseudo-adobe apartment building on Cornwall Avenue is so different from the surrounding Northwest architecture that it was hard not to notice even before it got this recent bright new paint scheme. When I drive by on one of our many gloomy grey days, for a moment I'm transported to a sunnier clime.
