It's a rare event for Bailey to jump up on me like this - but not a rare event for him to avoid the camera. He'd been out in the garden in the rain and came back in to tell me about it, I think. A wild day at work but apart from first thing, I managed to avoid the worst of it. A lockdown* practice this afternoon and I definitely drew the longest straw as I was teaching Y12 at the time. All was fine but it is a strange thing to experience, even when you know it is a practice. The day ended with a visit to my lovely hairdresser. It was good to see her as always.

*The last time we did a lockdown practice (pre-March 2020) the word only had one meaning. It's come to mean a whole lot else since then.
