Order of Play.

Wet morning but dry and occasionally sunny afternoon at the Alfred Dunhill Golf at the Old Course. Each team compromises a professional and amateur, two teams per game. Others are playing at Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.

We watched several games; I enjoyed seeing Xavier Ballesteros. He’d quite an entourage following him, TV crew, photographers etc. We viewed from 18th green and side of fairway - we saw some of the games that started at Hole 10 and games 1-8 as they came to the end of their round. We had an Order of Play document (and had it downloaded on our phones)
so it was easy to keep up and learn a bit about some of the amateurs as they passed. There was some good play and some rather poor play. Not busy where we stood.
