HARVEST

A dark, wet, chilly day so I looked up the Abstract Challenge (hosted by Ingeborg), which is "Simplicity". Here is my entire harvest of tomatoes which aren't going to ripen up any further. Too few for chutney, so I'll be checking the recipes for fried green tomatoes.

I was out for coffee this morning and filled up with petrol with no trouble at all. No queues, and only one other car in the garage when I arrived. I'm now confident that I can get down to Mum's in an emergency, which is my only worry. The garage at the end of sister R's road was pictured with long queues in today's Guardian, so she's feeling relieved that she has an electric car to get to and from her vaccinating shifts.
