Sign of the Times

On a very windy walk this morning I decided to explore a bit more of Sandown, which when I was a child, was a lovely seaside town. It is now full of derelict buildings, including this hotel. It is sad to see the decline on our lovely Island.
The, fairly new, soulless, Premier Inn dominates and looks incongruous amongst the decaying buildings nearby.
