Looking Up

This morning I drove to Bremner Bay, picked up 4 shopping bags of nice dry pine cones, before walking back towards town.  These Kowhai trees are growing by the track.  In the background are the Poplar trees, still in bud.  

The extra is of the Kowhai trees by the Bremner Bay track.  After lunch I still had 2K steps to do, so had a short walk down by the lake in the beautiful sunshine.  Sat chatting to a lady from the walking group.
