It looks less likely that there will be a government shut down. We will know by midnight tomorrow. IF there is a government shut down, they'll still have a bit of time before we have the unthinkable - a government default on our bills.

One of the reasons why it worked is that I didn't include additional justification. I didn't say, "no" and then give a reason. I just said, 'no." If you give a reason, the person you are arguing with will try to pick it apart. They can't if you don't give them one.
