St Andrews Burns Club was founded in 1869 and this fact has recently been acknowledged by the siting of a commemorative plaque on the building in the town where the first meeting was held.

As a member of Paisley Burns Club, the world’s oldest formally constituted Burns Club, I felt it appropriate to take a photo.
