A busy day, starting with a haircut for MrM. I still find it a nerve racking task, but happily he was pleased with the result.

Then chopping lots of veg - very therapeutic - and making a large pan of French lentil soup. Most of it's in the freezer in portion-sized containers.

Nipped out after lunch for some essential shopping, and then started filing away some of the papers that have accumulated in my office the spare bedroom. It will take a while!

Early evening a rare occurrence - I baked a cake. Lemon Drizzle, MrM's favourite, ready for his birthday tomorrow.
