Consider the Lilies

My tidy desk!

This is my desk at its tidiest - I spent all of Friday tidying it. There used to be a pile of papers on the right hand side that had almost reached the top of the cabinet. I have some lovely cards from folk but I've put them in a drawer to keep it tidier.

You can see a Romero Cross made by our partner in El Salvador, and a red and white stone given to me by a primary school teacher in Lima when we visited her school. There are also red ribbons to mark World Aids Day.

In the background you might see a football from Malawi, that was part of an installation by Samson called "The Goalkeeper"; he brought back the balls from Malawi I think about eleven years ago. It's made from plastic sugar bags, which are melted together to make a bouncy ball.

So, this is where I sit and work every day!
