Velocity 2

I've been looking forward to this for ages - we had booked to do the Velocity 2 zip-wire at 11am. Deb and I and two of Debs friends (Anna & Debs), After the briefing and fitting of harnesses, we all had a side-by-side run on the small zip wire. After a 15 minute truck ride to the top station (around 550m), we enjoyed the views over the quarry and Snowdonia. Then we had our turn - flying side by side 700 feet over the lake at speeds of up to 100mph for about 1 mile in length was simply the closest thing to flying! - and I don't "do" heights, but I loved it!
