In the Dark

Enjoying the rays of sun in the field this morning I spotted two common blue butterflies and opted to get a few shots whilst they were still on the chilly side with the temperatures having dropped.

Another potential emergency as Dad went onto the critical list  in the evening and we were all called, however being a Covid ward they only let in 1 person in case of dire circumstances. 

Quickly eating our supper, frantically packing over night bags and collecting the dogs gear and meds together they were bundled into the car. 

My brother hot footed it from Oxford with only half a tank of petrol in tempestuous weather and I rang the hospital again. In the time this took the nurses had given him antibiotics, were rehydrating him and this all put a completely different complexion on the issue being quite a significant improvement. I opted to wait having spoken to the doctor and told Mum to go to bed. 

Not a great evening but all was in fact well.
