Yes ...

... another butterfly.

I have seen several Monarch butterflies float through our yard these past few days.  The time is winding down for them to be in our garden.  This one is probably nectaring up for her long flight south.

Just like the Gray Catbirds they only spend the summer (warmer) months here in the Northeast.  Everyone migrates south as soon as the cooler temps arrive here ... much to my displeasure.  I love seeing both the catbirds and all the lovely butterflies in my yard during the summer months and hate to see them go. 

Speaking of migrating south ... we are seeing fewer and fewer hummingbirds as they also leave us for warmer climes.  Sigh. 

Backblipped: Sept 29, 2021 ... almost caught up.  And just in time for our vacation!
