Travel Ladies that do Lunch

It’s been a long and very social day here in Christchurch..
This is a phone photo, I was wedged into a corner and still didn’t manage to get them all in, there was twelve of us, and all of them bar two I haven’t seen since we went to Croatia back in 2009….and it just seemed like yesterday.  Doug and I have done four trips with all or some, other have done more.  We did Alaska/Canada, then Turkey/Syria/Jordan/Egypt, then South Africa/Botswana/Zimbabwe/Vic Falls, then Croatia and the Italian Lakes. Such an amazing group with fun loving personalities. As you can imagine the lunch was very looooonnnnnggggg !!!
Then Doug and I went to see our Irish friends, the couple we travelled to Ireland to attend their wedding back in August 2016.  They are now living in Christchurch and have a little boy called Odhran (O-rin). Special. 
Back for a very late dinner at our friends place, now well after 11 so time for some shut eye. 

Covid (bad) News….45 new cases, it’s getting out our hand again.
