Dry As A Bone

Without a drop of rain, decaying wildflowers in the meadow are long past their best. However, the balmy evening sun of late provides splendid opportunities to play with backlighting.

Picking out a few dead heads here and there with shallow depth of field and rim lighting, letting the background fade away into soft pools of warm light.

It's very pleasant at the moment and looks set to continue.
