Snaefell Pike…
.. and 2036 feet up, and cold! But a great experience! We asked the one other person around to take a photo for us.
We’ve travelled by train and tram today, both electric and dating back many years. Wonderful transport! We began the climb, by train, in steady rain so decided to stay on the train to Douglas. We then come straight back down to Laxey where we transferred to the tram for the journey to the top. The rain had stopped and the views were amazing, seeing across to five counties of England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Man. One of my extras. Later the sun shone too. Perfect.
Fish and chip dinner collected on the way home. Poor dogs wolfed their food and watched with huge doe eyes while we ate ours.
My extra, looking through to the tram drivers window on our way down.
