Living my dream

Many years ago back in the '70's I would catch this moth. the Garden Tiger in reasonable numbers in my garden moth trap, Since then I have only seen it one or two times at Sandwich bay.
This summer a friend of mine very kindly gave me some eggs from a female she had trapped in her Yorkshire garden. Of the 50 resulting larvae 40 are still tiny and ready to overwinter as tiny larvae (in my nettle patch) and 6 grew huge and pupated and have started eclosing today
I feel so totally honoured and in awe  being able to photograph this beautiful moth again.
