The Beach at Aldeburgh
Two scenes are depicted here: a fisherman's shop, one of several on the seafront, though fishing is a shadow of its former self at this seaside town which is more famous as the home of composer Benjamin Britten and the singer Peter Pears The other image is a sculpture to be found on the beach: it was designed by Maggi Hambling and constructed by a metal working firm in the town It is a tribute to Britten
