In the badlands between the boxy balconied designs of Upper Strand and the French Style A listed Caroline Park.

Prime building land slowly returning to nature.

I found a sad clump of abandoned toys and teddies, a mouldering Buzz, a wooden Woody and this.

It's not unusual to find stuff dumped in quiet corners of such wastelands but there's something about the doll, the green mould in the grey hair or the dirt in its nose, ears and mouth that I find disturbing.
