Small Thing

Another quiet day, rather damp and quite cold. 

The fire is on tonight, and we've been catching up with 'A House Through Time', enjoying seeing places we know well from the many years we lived in Wharfedale. TM's old workplace, Leeds University, featured in tonight's episode, and the moors where we used to walk.

My only exercise has been crawling round and round on the dining room floor, layering up the sampler quilt (which I started exactly two years ago), and pinning it together ready for quilting. I don't find my knees hurt when kneeling, but my ankles can't bear that stretched out position for very long - and getting down on the floor is easy enough, but getting up again is a different story!

I left it late to think about a blip and had to go rummaging in my collection of 'interesting natural objects'. I found this tiny, fluffy feather, about an inch long and rigged up the tripod and lamp, and even got out the extension tubes. 

It's a long time since I delved so deep in my camera bag. I've been very lazy since I got my new phone ...
