A Bracing Day in Orkney

Across to Smiddybrae to see my Mum – she was quite perky and ordered some clothes and shoes from one of her catalogues.  Her only exasperation is that she keeps meeting Rhona wandering about in her goonie.
Then meandered across to Yesnaby for a dither aboot.  Great windy and sunny day after yesterday, quite a few folk going about.


Chose some perennials and bulbs and sent off for them.  Missed out on the Springbank, although I am past caring now.

Ben Rinnes was at home when we got back to base.
