Road Sign

Our last day!   We set off for Port Aux Basque, about a 4 hour drive, with the thought of finding a trail to go for one last hike!   Well, that was a lot more challenging that we expected!    Stopped for lunch, checked maps etc., but just could not find a trail that was close enough and continue onto the ferry.

Note to self:  do more research and planning next time!!!

It was still a great drive, the scenery is just so amazing...and we had to take a shot of this road sign...the Newfoundlanders have a great sense of humor!!!

Arrived in Port Aux Basque and checked into our hotel for the night.   After so much time sitting in the car had a great walk around this little town.   See extra for a shot of the small vendor huts along the waterfront, a great idea!
