Not many but a few
This week's Mono Monday theme, set by our host Majoayee, is 'Many'. I couldn't quite manage many, which is define as a multitude, a great crowd, but have managed 'a few' which is defined as a number between say three and ten. Last night we enjoyed a delicious chicken roast cooked by Daughter #2 and today we put out scraps of left over chicken for the birds to enjoy, which they did. Mr MC placed the scraps in a foil dish and it was the intelligent magpies who investigated as you see. In extras a collage of their antics as one brave bird tackled the dish while others looked on. The action took place at the far end of the garden, so pics were once again taken through glass and at a distance.
In other news: Mr MC and I managed a visit to the recycle centre and a charity shop to offload the results of the latest attempt to clear out. We have plenty of fuel for this local journey but saw garages with long queues en route, one saying 'no petrol' so presumably diesel only. If the situation doesn't resolve, we'll have to think carefully about our planned journey to Surrey next week.
