sad remains

Bitter biting cold today, at least we dont have any snow (yet) but the cold has brought all growth and the progress of spring to a standstill.

I went for a walk on the way home and found these ruins. It is apparently the remains of a famine village. Its in the area south east of Baltimore known as Spain. On the hilltop in the distance is a nineteenth century signalling tower known as Spain Tower.
Only a few yards to the left of the shot are the clifftops and a sheer drop to the sea.
