Inherited

Today was the funeral of my great-grandmother. To me, she was very inspirational - as a child, she suffered a foot injury that has caused her pain, yet through her life she still managed to help in the war, and bring up three children. Today, I was given her engagement ring; she met her husband Ken over the phone during the war. They married in Wales in 1942 and spent a long and happy 60 years together. Nan was always there as I grew up, and she will always mean a lot to me and I will miss her very much.
