Book Worms...

...hopefully! Yet another phone pic! All day I kept passing up photo opportunities thinking there'd still be time for a pic later in the day...and here we are at 11pm with the only pics being on my phone and none in my camera. 
Felt grotty still but had an orange and ginger juice and no doubt that helped. A morning of doing odd jobs and chatting to people on the streets. One of my chats was with Ricky who came running to where I was, shouting my name and waving - someone's given him a room in their house and the potential for a job too when his broken arm has healed! He almost crushed me with his joyous hug, simultaneously jumping up and down. He is so delighted. Really hope this is the start of something good for him.
D & M did tough things this morning, so a nice lunch was required - steak, garlic mushrooms, roasted crushed baby potatoes (a la you Neil!), asparagus...and pasteis de Belem (or de Ibiza, ha!) to finish. Then news came that maybe there wouldn't be news today - argh... Maybe tomorrow, maybe Wednesday... For the first time the lawyer told us there's actually no deadline for the Judge to meet...so really there's no clue when news will come, it's all just (un)educated guesses!! Poor guy.

The kids excitement was Asha receiving 2 out of 3 books that Danny's friends Sireesh and Dipti have given her! And going out to choose and buy Nate a book with the money they gave him. Both kids are pleased. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) M's great attitude to all of this, even though it's hard.
2) Ricky's infectious joy.
3) Sireesh and Dipti's generosity.
