Flowers in the park

It was pretty windy last night but fortunately had died down this morning.  The day started fairly brightly and we headed off to Bicton Park for a walk with our Grandson. We started with our walk around the very colourful garden area before heading for the ducks, fountains and the playground area.  A quick walk around the large slides (ie for much older children) where Lucas was attracted to the flags hanging from the structure and then it started to rain fairly heavily.  We sheltered in a nearby kiosk and then he had a walk around.  I think his highlight of the day would have been the train that he saw twice where people and children waved to him.  

The afternoon became a rapid change from sun and rain with a large rainbow at one point.  It was only at the end of the day that I went out again when it rained dry and sunny, we took a trike ride to the beach and back.
