All Change

We arrived back from our trip late yesterday and spent today catching up.    

It felt like there’s been a step change in the 10 days we’ve been away.  The leaves are turning and falling, the temperature’s dropped a few degrees and it’s been raining on and off all day.  I had on boots and a hat for the walk to the Central Library on George IV Bridge! 

My route took me past the roadworks on the corner of East Fountainbridge and Lothian Road which had just started before we went to Aberdeen on 9 September.  It looks as though the pavement is going to be widened quite a bit on the corner and the road narrowed.  It will be 4 – 6 weeks for the works to be complete so that will be around the middle of October.
