Available Light Portrait

The afternoon Sun was streaming through the bedroom window, and I shot with a highlight limiter on the camera. The result was quite a low key shot that I rather like. Shame we hadn't put the diamanté necklace on at this stage, because the shot never repeated itself.

Last night's storm kept Ivy (and therefore me) awake much of the night. She looks better today than I do. Nevertheless we had a fine time trying to get the kite to stay aloft in fluky winds, and splashing in puddles in the park.

I believe our village filling station has fuel. Just in case you haven't filled every available vessel already. ;-) I was fortunate enough to fill up - simply because I was empty - a couple of days ago. I'm smiling at the EU drivers raising a finger in glorious salute, as HM Gov tries to think of something.
