Many splashes

Today we visited Kylemore Abbey and gardens. It is a monastery for Benedictine nuns and plans are afoot to develop accommodation for visitors who are looking for some spiritual R&R. It is a place of beauty and of course stories - the gardens are stunning and it’s history tells stories of love, goodness, hospitality and education (it was a convent school for girls for a long time) but it also has its fair share of sadness and tragedy.
