Langsett

It was raining heavily this morning for the first time in over a month and have to confess that we did not brave our early morning walk. Instead we went out this afternoon to walk by Langsett Reservoir for the first time in over two years. There were a few brief showers but it was mostly blue skies and bright sunshine, which made for a nice contrast of light and shade in the pine woods.
I spent most of the morning going over one of the tunes studied in my sax lesson last week and progressing the use of motifs and patterns. It is so easy to become immersed in this and to obsessively explore different progressions.
