Lonesome Oak

Have ventured south across the border in search of heat and sunshine, and to see my mum! No sunshine or heat but lots of lovely food!

The landscape here in Northamptonshire is very different to that of the Scottish Borders. Here it is relatively flat with large agricultural fields and hedgerows and the odd isolated hedgerow tree.

We braved the cold winds for a walk this morning and later this evening but spent the rest of the day relaxing inside chatting and drinking cups of tea!
