I just needed a splash of brightness on this grey, bitterly cold day. It seems like anyone I speak to is utterly fed up and feeling constantly tired .... including me! I put it down to Spring being shy about displaying her wares.

The day didn't start well with yet another flood at work. The cause this time was a blocked toilet (again) above one of our offices. Staff hastily relocated and the room will need to be deep cleaned. Didn't smell so fresh either.

But the day has needed on a high note. My father had a chunk of his lung removed at the end of 2012 because of a large tumour. Second follow-up visit today in Dublin and they are very pleased with him. Well done TC!!
