Wind, rain and more rain
It was a windy old night and we were all awake on and off. Phin was a bit restless so I had him on my bunk a couple of times but had to put him back to his bed when he got too hot and started taking up too much room.
Didn’t get too wet on the morning walk but Mr PHL was quite damp when he came back in at lunchtime. Phin doesn’t seem to mind!
After lunch we took ourselves up to Larachmohr gardens just outside the village - not very large but filled with some impossibly exotic plants for most of the rest of Scotland but this area benefits from the Gilf stream. It was lovely walking through the ancient forest.
Back to the van to read and stay dry until I got wet again on the tea time walk.
Forecast isn’t too promising but we’re dry and cosy in the van.
Miss PHL’s parachute jump was cancelled due to poor conditions so she’s relieved but a little frustrated after psyching herself up! Waiting for new dates.
Thank you for your comments, stars and favourites for yesterday’s beach blip - you’ve put me on the popular pages, very honoured.
