Spitfire

The skies above my village were very busy today - first with the biplanes (see the montage) and then by a spitfire and what I think is a Dragon Rapide or a de Haviland.  (See the other extra).  

The spitfire (or one of its sisters) was in evidence again later in the afternoon, but I didn't have my camera with me at that point.

Duxford Imperial war museum is only a few miles down the road... I really must take a trip there at some point.
