Has Left Me Broken on the Rocks

It's that time of the month again.

Allotment shot to show the changing face of our plots.   I've attached two extras which show you my plot from May and Today.  Look at the change.  Si's plot is almost empty now-  we have harvested everything from it.  Getting ready to plant up the onions, garlic, and shallots for next year.

But we've still done the "where's the body" shot.

I didn't tell you a terrible thing yesterday.

I was pruning the raspberry bushes along the outside of my plot so that I could strim the grass underneath them.    I had made my way about three-quarters of the way down.

As I bent low to pull some branches loose, I spotted some wasps and swatted them away.  And then, no more than 10 seconds later, I felt the most awful stabbing pain in my leg, I lifted my top and saw a bloody wasp on my leg, and then another pain,  as I yelped, and ran backward towards Si, there was another nip.

I ran into our plot which is, currently hidden by sunflowers and dropped my trousers, to slap on some hand gel, which, I have discovered is very good at stings from Stinging nettles.  I figured it would do the same for the wasps.

As I liberally emptied the hand sanitizer over my knee area,  sitting on the bench in my pants, did I not feel another flipping stab - the little b'tard got me on my arse.

I pulled my trousers up and ran for the shelter of the polytunnel, only to scream once more with another sharp pain.

I stood in the polytunnel, trousers on the ground while Si checked my butt for wasps.   He spotted one flying out and then around the polytunnel, so keeping an eye on it, I pulled my trousers back up and was sent to go to the car, whilst he closed up.

When I got home, I showered, and took an antihistamine, and slathered some more hand sanitizer all over me... I couldn't find the fifth site - although I knew I had felt it.   Having so many pains all at the one time made it difficult for me to locate them all.

Found it this morning though.

Right at the top of the crack of my arse.

Thankfully today, they are all a lot less painful.
