Goldfinch

This was taken at Martin Mere, the WWT reserve in Lancashire. Although it is a fairly common bird the shots that I managed of the other 47 species that I clocked today were distant/fuzzy/half hidden/silhouettes etc..., so this is the one that you get! Although common, it is fairly spectacularly exotic to look at.
