Today's the day ................... to touch base

Just to say that it's been a busy (but lovely) weekend with visits from family and friends and lots going on.  I didn't seem to get the chance to take any pictures - and so there has been nothing to blip.  It's all gone quiet now though and so I'm sure that normal service will be resumed with the start of a new (quieter) week.  

In the meantime, here's one of the extra inhabitants in the house - a result of a visit to the Kirkcudbright Kite Festival on Saturday.  It's that well-loved member of the Paw Patrol , known to her many fans as - Skye......................
