Live music, lots of it

Blast Furness at Kendal Torchlight Carnival today - three sets played at different spots around  the town.  This is our tableau to show off the costumes, and one extra shows the crowd enjoying our random strolling around the streets. There were lots of other bands around, steel band, ukulele band, students from the college playing rock music, drumming bands... and a lot of colourful displays and processions (see other extra).
Then this evening we were back walking and playing on the streets of  Ulverston for the Lantern Festival, a huge display of amazing home-made lanterns  and finishing with a firework display in Ford Park.
