Como

Italy road trip day 1
Really a last minute holiday, we have both got some holidays left to take this year, so packed up the car with camping gear and headed south after work. It was about 3.5 hours to drive to Como, just over the border, so checked into the Hotel B&B at 9.3opm. We headed straight out to the old part of town, and found a great place to sit out and have a bottle of wine, and a little bit to eat. It was quiet at first, but by midnight the town was absolutely packed, the streets full of locals enjoying gelato, drinks, chatting to friends. So wonderful to see all the youngster out enjoying life.
