Essence of now

Combination of still wearing masks in shops, well, we do.   And the blazing late summer garden flowers wrapped in newspaper.  Bargain at a tenner.  We had a good morning in the garden planting those pesky bulbs in the misty air.  Then after a quick shop we had tea in one direction where London friends were visiting local friends, drinks in another and onto dinner.  Lovely catching up with lots of people in one hit!
