Where I am…

….Right near this amazing beach on the Isle of Man.

I’m visiting my friend Gail who moved here in January. An hour’s flight from Gatwick and you’re here. A new here for me and it’s going to be an interesting few days. It’s like going back in time! We went out to dinner this evening and hardly met another soul other than in the restaurant. I think it’s curfew time around 9pm!

The sea can be seen from the kitchen window and the beach stretches for miles. The two dogs certainly love it! The only other people we saw this afternoon were swimming. Definitely cold water swimming, in temperatures of only 8degrees. Brrrr.
