End of an era

The end of an era for CyclopsJnr today!

Today marks the end of term at RugbyTots and we've not signed him up for another one. RugbyTots goes from age 2 to age 7 so at age 7 CyclopsJnr is retiring out.

In an attempt to tire this child out we tried every activity going, and RugbyTots is the only one that has stuck. CyclopsJnr has gone to every term-time weekly block, he's been to two holiday camps, and he had them host his 4th birthday party. During lockdown the RugbyTots weekly online sessions kept a bit of normality for us.

The RugbyTots coaches have been phenomenal in giving CyclopsJnr exactly the sort of disciplined active fun that it turns out he thrived on. Every coach has been kind and fun and a great role model. CyclopsJnr engaged enthusiastically with Coach Carl’s expert toddler-wrangling straight away, and he even has a RugbyTots stuffie called Little Carl. Coach David was also amazing and CyclopsJnr dressed as him for 'Heros Day' at school.

We have had a fantastic five years with RugbyTots and we will really miss them.

Onwards to train with the Edinburgh Accies.

After lunch we met D&L, S&E for a walk around the Torduff Reservoir. It was nice to catch up as it has been a little while.
