Friends saturday
We've had a lovely day today exploring Sheringham (mostly the charity shops) followed by an early evening fish and chips on East Runton beach. As the light faded Neil had a go with the metal detector and came up trumps finding a £2 coin in the sand. I was thrilled as it is the first proper find with it, so at least proves it works. He also found some barbed wire, silver foil, two bottle tops and some tent pegs. All taken away from the beach to be disposed of. It has spurred me on to do more searching.
After the fish and chips we drove home and spent the evening round the fire at the bottom of the garden. I lit lots of candles and we chatted, played some games and ended up looking at the stars. In the morning we have an early start, and a day on the Broads planned. So must head to bed now.
