Honey Bee

Another blip from wandering round the garden.  The "Ice Plants" which we rescued from ArcaneSpark's garden are just coming into flower.  They make a pleasing show for late in the season and a supply of food for pollinators such as bees.

The weather is still warm enough for bees to be flying I would say just warm enough.  When I kept bees the thought was they flew in "shirt sleeve" weather.  However the coolness meant the bees weren't moving about as quickly as usual.  An ideal opportunity.  I am quite pleased with the result.
