The art of wrapping

Perfectly mastered by Christo, now with the Arc de Triomphe wrapped for a few days. Saturday/Sunday the whole place is traffic free with free public access. In addition we had entry tickets for the monument and the view from the top over the city is spectacular (as always). Other photographers were happy with a much smaller platform, see extra.

By the way - and I was also wondering: the whole action is self-financed by the artist(s) and the approx. 14 Mio Euros were raised by selling sketches of the preparation work.
