A long day
Back blipped from Sweden on 25th September
A relatively early start from our hotel (though not as early as it would have been from home) the full moon was looking good as we put our bags in the car.
Check in at the ferry was straight forward, we'd completed all the correct paperwork in advance.
The ferry was almost empty - cars and lorries combined did not even fill one level of the car deck, and social distancing was easy. No queues for food or the duty free shop.
The ferry was quickly unloaded in Holland - interesting statue noticed as we waited in the small queue for passport control. We could have brought ALL the booze and food we wanted - no-one even asked.
Our sat nav took us a rather circuitous route away from the ferry, and after a while, we realised that we had the settings to "avoid motorways". Once we corrected that, our journey to our hotel in Germany went smoothly, including an easy stop for a successful recharge. Sadly, too late for food in the hotel, so we survived on junk food and some wine from the mini bar before an early night.
P.S. After Arclight kindly pointed out my error over the date, I deleted this from 24th and have reposted it to the correct date of 23rd. I will post for 24th shortly
